Political Thought and Contemporary Issues

Edited by Kenneth L. Deutsch

The goal of this series is to demonstrate the continuing relevance of political thought and philosophy to a free and open society. We seek to provide a forum for the nation's leading political theorists, philosophers, and public intellectuals to engage controversial public issues through the lens of political thought. The books are intended to be concise, pithy, and controversial, and written for an audience of both undergraduates and interested general readers. These books will represent the breadth of ideological and philosophical perspectives currently informing public debates.
